WELCOME TO GROVEDALE TIGERS FOOTBALL NETBALL CLUB
Located in the heart of Grovedale, we have a long and proud history, with our teams competing in the Geelong Football & Netball League. Our club facilitates over 700 players taking the court/field each week in netball and football teams in all age groups from U9-U19, through to seniors. We also run successful Auskick and Net Set Go programs and have a strong women’s football program with two senior teams and numerous junior female teams.2024 was a successful year with our Senior Women winning the Div 1 Premiership & both our U18 Colts teams winning Premierships With many of our Colts moving up to play senior football, we are extremely excited to see what the future holds for our club.
Weโre absolutely thrilled to welcome Chris Burgess as our Senior Womenโs Division 1 Coach for the 2026 season!
Chris joins the Tigers with an impressive coaching background and a strong passion for developing womenโs football. His experience spans across multiple levels of the game including coaching Under 18 Girls, the V-Line Cup, and most recently working as a Development Coach with the Geelong VFLW program.
Chris is well-known for his ability to connect with players, teach the gameโs fundamentals, and create an environment that brings out the best in individuals and teams. His leadership, knowledge, and enthusiasm will play a huge role in continuing to drive our womenโs program forward.
Weโre rapt to have him on board and canโt wait to see the impact heโll have both on and off the field in 2026.

What a massive weekend coming up for Grovedale Netball!
We have two teams fighting it out in finals this coming weekend. See below for details.
E Grade with their win on the weekend will now take on top of the ladder Leopold. If they are able to secure this win they go straight into the Grand Final. If they lose, they will play the following Saturday against the winner of Sunday's match (St Marys or Newtown).
Our U17 Div 2 team will need to beat Newtown on Sunday to stay in the finals as their final is an elimination final.
We wish both teams all the best and we are absolutely loving the Grovey crowds, what an amazing Tiger Family we have. All the girls are feeling the love and support ๐๐ค

This program will be held on Tuesday nights at Burdoo Reserve (Netball Courts) at 5.15pm to 6pm.
Net is for 5 to 6 year olds and teaches fundamental motor skills through activities and games.
Set is for 7 to 8 year olds and focuses on refining fundamental motor skills and introducing modified match play.
If your child is above these age groups they are most welcome to come along and join in our U11 Netball Program, they play games on Tuesday nights at Kardinia Park. For more information regarding this program please contact us on grovedalejuniornetball@gmail.com
