After a great come from behind win over Bell Park last Saturday, the Tigers are headed for a Grand Final!
This is our first Grand Final in three decades and it's a very exciting time for the club. As we head toward Saturday there is plenty going on at the club for you to get involved in. Details are below:
All supporters are encouraged to get along to the club on Thursday night in your club colours to cheer our players through their final training session. Players will be on the track at 6:00pm and meals will be available to all supporters from 6:30pm, but must be ordered via Facebook by Tuesday night. Options are:
o Schnitzel - $11
o Parmi - $12
o Hamburgers - $8
o Nuggets and chips - $5
o Bowl of chips - $2.50
Merchandise will be available for sale as will tickets to the presentation evening on Friday 27th September.
The clubrooms will be open and the Geelong versus Hawthorn Preliminary Final will be played on television with the game starting at 7:50pm. During the evening, there will be a Grand Final eve raffle held.
Saturday - GRAND FINAL DAY
Let's fill Simonds Stadium with yellow and black. Get down to the ground on Saturday afternoon and give the boys all of our support. We would love to see plenty of junior players and their parents down at the game.
Whatever the result is on Saturday, we want all supporters back at the club to celebrate season 2013. There will be an entrance fee of $10 a person or $25 for families which covers a BBQ tea. Drinks will be available at member's prices. Grand Final players will be presented to supporters from 7:15pm.
Our 2013 Vote Counts are held for both Football and Netball. Colts A and B, Reserves and Senior Football as well as Under 19 through to A Grade Netball. It all starts at 12:00pm and finishes at 5:00pm Supporters are welcome to attend, Food will be available for a small charge.
